littlekid.co.uk is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children and no page on this site solicits information from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a child has submitted personal data through our email addresses in error, they should contact [email protected] and we will delete the record promptly.
- International transfers
Personal data submitted to this site is processed inside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Any transfer outside the UK/EEA — for example if a mail provider routes a message through a data centre in the United States — is covered by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the UK Information Commissioner's Office and does not change your rights under UK GDPR.
- Third parties
We use a small number of third-party services to keep the site online: a DNS provider, a content-delivery network, a mail relay for the editorial inbox and an accounting provider for commission reconciliation. Each of these processes personal data only on our documented instructions; we do not sell, rent or otherwise share reader data with advertising networks, data brokers or affiliate directories.
- What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to run the site. Server access logs record your IP address, the requested URL, the referring page, the HTTP status code, the number of bytes served and the user-agent string of your browser — the same fields that any web server records by default. If you email us, we keep the email and any attachments in our support inbox; we do not use cookies to identify readers across visits.

Please direct all data-protection correspondence — including subject-access requests, correction requests, erasure requests and objection notices under UK GDPR — to [email protected]. Where reasonably practicable we respond within one month; where a request is complex we may extend that period by up to two further months and will tell you why.
- How we use
Access logs are read to diagnose problems (a page returning errors, a request spike from a single IP, an image failing to load) and to compile aggregate traffic statistics that never identify individuals. Email correspondence is used only to answer the reader's question and is retained for the shortest period consistent with statutory record-keeping duties. We do not run automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects for readers.
- Changes
When this Privacy Policy changes we update the 'last modified' date at the top of the page and note the change in the summary block. Material changes — a new category of data, a new sub-processor, a shorter or longer retention period — are also announced on the site homepage for at least 30 days after they take effect, so returning readers can see that the notice has changed.
